Because this game needs to make money to exist, and it will be discontinued if it did not make anything.

Buy the battlepass it will keep you busy for about 350 hours.

That's true but we all know they have made more than enough to exist.
I'm Shure they make more than enough money to be able to throw out a few apex packs every 6 levels or atleast let us spend our apex tokens on them, I think you took my post the wrong way wingmannedbro , at the very least I'd like to see some sort of way to spend these useless tokens I have , that's my main point , no need for them to just give them away but I mean to get one every 6 levels isn't asking much either

It actually is asking for much, it's literally asking for unlimited free packs.
I spent 410 euro (approx 560 USD) to get Wraith's heirloom set, and if I got a pack every 6 levels I would never have spent money on this game.
Free packs will cause a psychological impact on players of "why buy the cow when you get the milk for free?"
They'll introduce some sink for legend tokens at some point i'm sure.
No one asked you to spend that much that was your choice im just talking about making the game more fun and enjoyable for everyone not just one player, to spend 500$ on a game is just ridiculous

See that's the thing, it's not a crappy business practises at all. PTW is crappy business practice.
Now let's have a look, you get a free game, 45 free loot boxes for reaching level 100, free new legends once you earn enough simply by playing the free game.
Any money people spend on this game is by choice.
See choice, you don't need skins etc to enjoy this game it's the players choice to spend money.
Players are to blame for spending their own money.
Sure the game is geared towards spending money to have your toon look pretty, still a choice tho.
I just play cause...it's a game. "Games" are made for entertainment. Therefore, I am entertained. Pretty simple.
I personally wouldn't buy a gold edition monopoly board game. But, others would. Everyone has their own preferences.

Oke dude, the fact that the rarest and most valuable cosmetics in the game are possible to drop from your free packs is so generous it's unheard of.
Find me any game in the world where the best of the best cosmetics can be obtained for free? I guarantee they are completely pay-walled in any other F2P game.
Respawn is being pretty generous here. Call me a bootlicker all you want, these are facts.

Almost every loot box system lets you have a chance at the best cosmetics, where in the hell are you from? I'm sorry I will never defend EA's garbage system that is designed to coerce you into lootboxes if you want a certain item. You can't just go buy anything you want, unless you happen to have the crystals or you get lucky and it's in the featured shop. No you have to buy lootboxes in hopes of either randomly getting what you want or hope you get the crystals to slowly earn enough to purchase it. It's gambling and in future years it's clearly going to be banned or regulated, as it should. Why not just have a shop with everything to buy straight up even if it was still overpriced? Because it's shady, stop defending these garbage practices......bootlicker.
