@SchraLpz Way too many people I've talked to are having the same issues with apex, it's not just me. Several people on here even expressed the same issues and about a month ago one left the game even over these issues. My switch and pc play other games perfectly with no problems, so it is only apex having issues like this. Also, I have 1300 hours into the game and in season 19 I was averaging 5 kills per game, I was getting so good that two livestreamers kept requesting me because they both said I knock people faster than anyone else they play with and they had a better chance of surviving a hot drop with me. Once season 20 started my kd dropped to 0.08 and I'm lucky to get 1 kill in a match, 2 is very lucky. Also, it takes multiple clips now to knock someone since the damage is now very low. These issues literally started overnight when season 20 came in.
Add to that the bad matchmaking that the OP was talking about and the game is now very difficult. I had to change my strategy to now sneak up on people or hit people already cracked since I don't stand a chance fighting like I used to.
My pc was just purchased a month ago and is brand new and was over 2 grand, I highly doubt my pc is an issue since even older pcs play it and the game is 5 years old. My network conditions have no problem playing other fps games like Overwatch or Star Wars Hunters. The problems are only with this game. Besides, my shots are obviously landing since it makes the sound effect, it's the game not registering the shots. 1 of the 2 streamers I mentioned earlier discontinued her apex streaming and now does fortnite and CoD since she can no longer win matches. People on YouTube that I correspond with in comments sections have told me the same things about these issues as well.
Also, my point was I couldn't beat an algs player if it was on the up and up, but if you nerf them to the current state that some players are experiencing I believe I could. If 2 shots took them out or they needed 3 clips to knock then they couldn't win either.
