Why this game is so hard for me?

@tearen22The ttk in this game is super long compared to warzone and other games. It's very hard to one clip someone, even if you jump them from behind. A good player will react enough to avoid the remaining bullets, then turn and shoot you. This is where your own movement or cover come in. If you don't move or take cover while reloading or swapping guns and the player is good you will get one clipped by that same player.

Oh and due to the long ttk and long fights, you will get shot by multiple people too if you over expose yourself.

LOL , and yet oddly enough...the person you just pumped an entire clip into, can spin around and tap you out instantly.

Go figure...right.

honestly, since Respawn voiced wanting to up the TTK, and made some adjustments towards that direction.... I've was dying almost 3 times faster. TTK seems the last 2 seasons like its was lowered considerably!

Can't understand it.

@tearen22You are where I was when I started in S8. I've played FPS games since the original Doom and Duke Nukem 3D days and Apex is the hardest FPS game I've ever played.  There are so many reasons for it, but I've resigned myself to only ever being around a 1.0 KDR player in this game.

I can't really explain it but my theory is that horrible matchmaking, ineffective anti-cheat, and a super sweaty community make for a horrible experience for average players most of the time.
