Why You Should Have All The Legends Playable Without Having To Unlock Them.

Apex Legends is a great game, However, I can't shake the feeling of the game getting repetitive, in the sense that the base 6 legends you get. You can't have any dittos on a team, so the team combinations are very limited. Sure once in a while you get a Mirage and Caustic player, despite the fact, all 8 characters should be unlocked, this is Apex LEGENDS after all.

There is no need to make it so that you can purchase the main focus is unlocked through micro-transactions or by having to grinding to unlock them. I bring up this issue because there are going to be future Legends, and as the roster gets bigger and bigger, 6 characters just isn't going to keep the casual players interested in the game.( Lets be serious, rarely anyone is going to want to accumulate 24,000 Legend Tokens to unlock everyone).

This game in some players eyes is the game that will overthrow Fortnite, the also free-to-play game that made over 1 Billion dollars on just cosmetics. If you want to beat a giant like that you have to go the extra mile. Just because this is free-to-play, doesn't mean you have to lock the main attraction to your game over making 10 or so extra dollars. I'm more willing to spend money to get Apex Packs if I know that there is a 0% chance of me getting a legendary item for a character that I don't have, and I don't think I'm alone.

A game to take some pointers from is Overwatch. The fact that people play with these characters right out the gate, then can see which ones they like and don't like, without worrying about wasting their in-game Currency or Real Money, and in-turn are more incline to buy skins, banners, etc for their "mains".

This would be a great change, and would should that you care more about the players experience, than just simply money, and with the not so good reputation of EA in the past, this would could be a way to turn it around.
