You can roll out the matchmaking changes any time now, Respawn

I'm down for any changes. It has got to be better than the rage inducing,, sweat fest my brother and I experienced last night.

Admittedly neither of us are great and I think the assumption that premades are more skilled than solo players, all other things being equal, does NOT apply to us.  The "use the highest skill rated player" to rate the party assumption is just horrific for us.  We got absolutely decimated by 3 stacks for hours and matchmaking seems to make absolutely no adjustment for that.  Our randoms were never higher skilled players able to carry us and died as quickly as we did about as often as we did.  The few games where we top 5'd (not a single win over 3 hours) ended up with 1 kill & 800 to 1000 damage leaving you feel basically worthless.  That's like sitting on the bench for a winning team..."Yay, teammates!".  So even when the squad does well, you don't come away feeling like you contributed anything.

The current system makes it impossible to attract and retain new players who aren't inherently good at the game.  As is, I'll probably just sititnout until I hear that the matchmaking changes have been rolled out. It can't get any worse, right?  《《《 Sarcasm right there 《《《
