You don't want to add solo, because you know everyone will play it

i agree last season i only played 10 last days and rank up to plat 4. i saw while ranking up . people in sliver bracket and gold bracket sitting on 10000-20000 kills with 300 wins etc. its like they win and then force themselves not to rank up to plat just so they can farm bad players for great stats . 

that sad . i really think we should have either solo or strict to only solo players . its unfair to play as solo player vs pre made squads . 

@E9ine_AC  True but I fancy my chances better against 1 pred teamed with 2 randoms as opposed to 3 working in unison lol. 😛

I don't mind being outplayed but eternally finishing 2nd place due to running into extremely well coordinated teams with superior motor skills is a real bummer haha.

@HarmoniumxivI don't know about that, Duos is not all that popular when compared to Trios. Duos can often have long queue times. I know numerous people who won't play duos because they feel like there is an increased chance of third partying.

I also know that it would not be popular with legends who require teammates.. Life Line mains come to mind.

@MandatoryIDtag That's where the Devo comes into play late game.. It doesn't matter if you miss 10 rounds you still have 34 more to shoot! All you have to do is move so much the enemy has to reload.. Once they reload go in for the kill. I did that tonight with a guy who had a 99.. Kept poking my head out the building to get him to spray it.. Saw him go for the reload and fully committed to destroying him.

@DarthValtrex  We have very different experiences of pred stacks then haha. The ones I run into generally appear out of nowhere and hard push with perfectly synchronised abilities leaving you sat there wondering wtf just happened. XD

I've taken preds 1v1 on many occasions which is why I'm really not phased in that scenario, if they beat me then fair enough lol. ^.^

I'm sure the devo works for you but its like my bogey weapon. In all these seasons I've been playing its the one gun I haven't been able to master and I hate using it. 😛

Problems with solo: Apex is class game, and not all classes are same. If you play solo, there will be caustics kamping in every house.  Paths and horizons sniping from high ground on every hill. Without other people to distract attention, Gibis will become walking punchbags. Mirage was my favorite in solo. Advantage when somebody shooting your decoy, revealing his position is priceless. It will be fun at start, but it will become hell later. Another problem with solo: People complain they cant win in trios, and there are 20 squads! In solos there are 60 people, and by law of sbmm, you WILL win one in 60 games instead one in 20 in regular trios. It wont be fun for sure

This happen all the time in a normal game as well. This has nothing to do with Solo, and actually solo will be way better, cause you need to run from just 1 guy, not 3, and you can actually outplay him.

I also get third partied a lot when i was at the start, and dying a lot to it, but i learned, improved and know how to handle it.

I don`t see 3rd party problem for solos. If you play solos, and you get third party straight away, you can quick in armor swap and demolish the guy, if you are better than him.

In Solos all that matter is just the skills.

As far as Lengeds balance goes on i have stated this already in a thread before and i compare and explain it quite well, that way more legends will be viable in solos, than they are viable now.

The modes Apex needs right now, to be fresh and get a new population, at least in my mind is this:
Deathmatch or TDM

Solos

Rebirth Resurgence Trios like the one from Warzone - its 20 team(3 people in a team), in a smaller island, and you need to kill(at once) every single one of the enemy team to eliminate them. If someone its alive, there is a timer(its start like 10-15 sec(can be lowered if your teammates get scores) and time gets up when the game advances and there is less teams), you get revived. Of course there is still a zones, and in some point, rebirths are closed. But you can still be redeployed by your team(if they have cash and a station, cause maybe its the zone and you can`t do anything). And you battle till you kill absolutely all. :D

This mode is super fun in Warzone atm. I mean super. Its super fast paced, unless you are some camper, you fight a lot, you get a lot of kills, and if you die, you get revived pretty fast, if someone from your team is alive.

All the 3 modes will give the game a very fresh look and probably bring a new player base. Also this is the best modes to actually learn and get better in the game. If you count to get good at Apex playing trios/duos you will wait for years. There is too much "cooldown" time if i can call it like that. And lets said from a 30 minutes game you spend no more than 5 minutes fighting, and this is at max. There is multiple games where you join, you loot for minutes(like most people do) and they get insta killed after. :D

Fighting time in Apex atm is very low, and you can barely get better that way. So this modes are good for that, for casuals to get better.

Lol, the 2 poors dev left on this game can't even manage game with only teamplay modes

1 poor patch per month or more, always waiting for an event or new season to finaly wake up, patch notes getting shorter and shorter with only a quarter of the issues fixed, etc

Adding a solo to balance will cause a disaster : one patch every 3 months, with only one line in the patch note saying "R-99 damages reduced from 12 to 11. Enjoy and cya in 3 months" 👿
