Yeah, I get what you're saying. Due to Game or Legend changes, some passives are now redundant or useless.
There really isn't much point in Caustic's now. Path getting time off his Ult isn't terrible, but it does feel placeholder-y.
As for Crypto and Wattson, even the Devs see the problem there. They've talked multiple times in the past about potential reworks for those two. And, honestly, with how they're "balencing" Caustic, he's probably going to need one too, the rate we are going.
Also, I find it amusing that certain things are near worthless in Arenas as well. Like, what is the point of Loba's Passive there? Everyone already knows there's a Phoenix kit in the supply bins. And it literally tells you what's in the care package at the buy screen. So, her passive is laughable in that mode. Yeah, I get you don't have to "pay" for it, but still. Honestly, that mode needs a lot of rebalancing and changes, on multiple fronts. But that's another topic for another time.
@JonStriker126I just think they need to make class based passives that act as a buff.
Remove Ultimate Accelerants, add White Backpacks as part of the starting gear, remove White (Helmets, Body/Knockdown Shields and Backpacks) from the loot table.Freeing up the loot table for better possibilities of better/fun gameplay.
All Recon Class Legends: Should get the same buff just like Pathfinder by using the Survey Beacons.
All Damage Class Legends: Should get a cool down buff on their Ultimate through damage/kills.
All Tank Class Legends: Should get a cool down buff on their Ultimate through damage taken.
All Healer Class Legends: Should get a cool down buff on their Ultimate through amount of healing/revives.Even if the percentage was minimal it would incentivise more to the gameplay than not.
Personally I would move/change certain roles of legends to support this, like Wattson for example should be considered a Healer rather than a Tank.
Don’t get me wrong I just like throwing out ideas and these are ones I see and talk about when playing the game, I think the gameplay has got stale with age.
