0x887A0005-DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

I keep getting "0x887A0005-DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" and my game crashes. This only happens on Apex. I saw a lot of post about it but nothing more recent. Has anyone recently had this issue and fixed it?

  • HI @NightMannCometh There's a few different things we can check/try to see if this stops.

    • Don't under or overclock your GPU
    • Make sure the power supply you have is sufficient
    • Set in-game settings to low to not overwork your GPU
    • Set your device and GPU to run for best performance, instead of power saving, or highest quality
    • Disable overlays and any other running Anti-cheat (besides Apex's)
    • Check for Windows, GPU, and Bios updates
    • Try running your device in a Clean Boot
    • Run a Repair on Apex via Origin
