Well, like the title says, usage CPU 100% since the new update, the game just crash w/o any error, it freeze and I have to kill the .exe
I didn't have problem before today, any crash or maybe one few weeks ago but not like that.
And there isn't any apex_crash.txt
Win10
CPU: i7 9700k @3.60Hz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070
RAM: 16Go - 3000Mhz
Installed on SSD
Does anyone got the same problem?

I came here to post the same thing. Since Season 3 my CPU is choking, causing massive stutters. My system is not overclocked.
Intel Core i5 4570
16GB RAM
GTX 970
Same problem since season 3 update. Random freezes, cpu going all the way (i7 9700k)

I didn't OC my proc.
It's most likely on EA side now, the update messed everythig up. We are mostly Intel users from what I could read but it seems weird since I have few friends with intel who have no problem.
And just in case, there is absolutely no apex_crash.txt, none, no error, 100% usage in few sec/min then a freeze screen, that's all.
I haven't any open software while playing, well I have msi afterburner (I tried w/ and w/o) but beside that, there is none.
Anyway, Im out of solution, I just give up and will wait for quick hotfix
