Server Disconnection Penalty Conundrum

The disconnect penalty system is in dire need of an update. Whenever there is a server failure, I get penalized with a 10 minute delay for “leaving the game.” I understand the penalty for those who intentionally leave the game, but penalizing unintentional disconnections with a 10 minute delay seems extreme and is extremely frustrating (especially when playing with friends). A quick scan on Reddit, and it seems like many players are experiencing this. A fix for this would be much appreciated. Or just removing the penalty system. I’d rather play without one player than be penalized for 10 minutes.
