Well, like the title says, usage CPU 100% since the new update, the game just crash w/o any error, it freeze and I have to kill the .exe
I didn't have problem before today, any crash or maybe one few weeks ago but not like that.
And there isn't any apex_crash.txt

CPU: i7 9700k @3.60Hz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070
RAM: 16Go - 3000Mhz
Installed on SSD

I have same CPU, I use Process Lasso and have now hit 100% CPU usage causing game to crash with no error five times in the last two hours.
Same. Going to wait it out and hope for a hot fix soon.
I crash constantly after about 7 mins in game, never had a prob in season 2, played atleast 10 games right before update then after update i have crashed 90% of games, no error, just locks up.

Same problem, same processor. Literally can't play the game. It crashes like every second game.
You meet the same problem, and I play the game would be a game card to death, I have to reboot my computer to normal, then the next may play a half an hour will be jammed, cannot use task manager to end game, can only be cancelled or restart, and I found that there are a lot of people appear this problem
try setting avx offset to 1 or 2 in bios.... Seems to be stopping the crashes for me... Well so far.
DICE TeamI'm suffering from the same problem since season 2 voidwalker update 30-40 % Gpu usage and 80-100 %!!!! CPU USAGE causing the game to constantly freeze , stutter and crash my max framerate now is only 35 fps ☹️(
i could play fine without crashes and problems before voidwalker update with avg 90Fps
I tried : reinstalling apex ,EAC , origin , Gpu driver , overclocking gpu limit apex cpu access but nothing seems to fix it's unplayable other games are ok
