2 PSN accounts linked to the INCORRECT EA account
I don't even know how this happened as MY account is the MAIN account on the PS4. But somehow my account is linked to an account that is deactivated and no longer in use. Again, these two accounts...

To confirm, you are seeing 2 PSN accounts linked to your EA account and the one that is now the new main account with Apex Legends cross-progression is not your main PSN account but the secondary one.
If so, would it be possible to confirm the following information?
- What is your EA ID?
- What are the PSN ID's of the 2 linked accounts?
- Do you only see progress from one of the PSN accounts, or is progress from both now merged?
If you have 2 PSN accounts linked to one EA account, this is not advised as mentioned in our EA Help articles:
Essentially you would need to decide which one you would want to unlink from the EA account, to have on its own EA account.
However, please note that the one that gets unlinked will not be able to take any progress/items with it as they are stored at the EA account level and will remain with the current account.
