Abandon Penalty for no apparent reason

Hello there,

this is my third attempt to try to make an appeal for my in-game penalty so please take some of your time to help me, I just came back to apex legends after a long break and to my surprise after I install the updates that there's a 461891 minutes abandon penalty which I don't know how and why it occurred , anyway hope you can track down when did this happen and if it was an error then lift the penalty as soon as possible , also can't spare the chance to talk about the long-lasting server issues , I adore this game but I'm on the edge of permanently leaving it , as the reason for the said long break was my frustration which was caused from this issue, can't get into games and overall connection errors. please look into this one carefully because it's one of the few games I still play.

    Hey @ddarksphinx,

    Any appeals will need to be handled by our Terms of Service team following these steps. I'm afraid we cannot review or change account actions via the forums. 

    If you're just returning to the game after a while away to find this, I would also suggest going through these security steps just to help make sure your account is secure and hasn't been accessed by anyone else for illegitimate purposes.

  • @EA_Mako i just finished my submission there and they told me to post my problem on the forum and now you are telling me to go the other way around , this is getting absurd and all this frustration is with me still trying to submit my problem and trying to contact the support before even getting into solving the problem itself.

    Hey @ddarksphinx,

    Do you happen to have the case number where you were told to post on the forums? That's unfortunately incorrect as we cannot make any changes to your account here, and we'd be unable to review or change any bans as a result.

    To appeal any account actions, you'll need to follow these steps as that is the only means of appealing. 

  • @EA_Mako I did two appeals in the EA support but they both just look into my EA account restrictions not my in-game account.
    also for the case number i have the transcript saved so here's the part that talks about the forum:

    N****** : In this case we've recorded you feedback or bug report for review. There might be other players who've submitted similar feedback or have similar issues on AHQ for them to upvote.     Hey @ddarksphinx,

    I was more looking for the case number to share some feedback about the interaction, as we cannot take any actions on the forums.

    In this case however, they're speaking more about using the forums to provide feedback, not to have anything changed on the account.

    In a situation where you're looking to appeal an action, you must speak with support, we cannot take any account actions via the forums, period. Sorry for the confusion.

  • @EA_Mako ok I understand the case now , now I need to know a more in-depth guide into how to properly appeal for my penalty to guarantee that I won't run into the same mistake again with keeping in mind what I previously said about how EA support just looks into EA account bans and suspensions not the in-game penalties which are different.
  • Hi ive got a similar issue but when i email the Terms of Service team they say i have no ban history. Do you have any clue why? Thanks
