Account already linked to your EA Account

Changed my email address on PSN network recently. Now tried to link EA account to PSN, so that I can merge accounts with steam one for Apex. I see on my account connections that account isnt liked to PSN, so I tried to link them.
Got "Your accounts can’t be linked because your PlayStation™Network account already linked to your EA Account", and it says that it is already linked to PSN account with my old email, which I recently changed. So it says pretty much that I'm already linked to this PSN account, which is not true, and also that it points on the SAME account, but with old email.
