It would not keep any cosmetics you've earned on the current EA account, but you would have access to those on the Xbox account instead. That would be this equivalent:

Old EA account: Xbox progress, Xbox account, Steam account
New EA account: Steam progress

@EA_Mako thx would they be able to make my xbox progress transfer over to my pc account. the one with xbox account, steam,steam progress.

No, afraid not. Progress cannot be transferred between different EA accounts at all.

If you have progress on two separate EA accounts, there's not a way to combine or move it.
