Anti cheat failed to authenticate

I am getting absolutely sick of this happening.

Brand new computer.

Seems to happen the most on broken moon but usually happens at least 1x a day regardless of map.

Happened at least 13 times on Sunday last week, happened four times today. I'm stuck in gold 4, when I should be plat 4 at least, but due to the anti cheat timing out or failing to authenticate I'm getting multiple 10 minute delays, with double RP lost when IT IS NOT MY FAULT. this is getting increasingly frustrating.

The only reason I play this stupid game is for ranked.

It would be really nice if someone could look into this and also, I wouldn't mind receiving all the RP back that I've lost due to your servers being *.

I've already attempted various trouble shooting myself, now I've uninstalled the game and attempting to reinstall but I doubt that will do anything.

  • This sounds like the same issue ive been having, i literally just started playing this month so only doing mixtape stuff but i keep getting up to a 20 minute ban for the game crashing. I have tried every fix that comes up when i googled it with no luck. My boyfriend and i had to give up on duos because of this happening so often mid match

  • I just started having the same issue but I can't even get into the game. I just made a post but also replying here in hopes someone sees this.

  • Just telling you exactly what happened, I'm assuming you've tried everything like I have all the EAC "repair", verifying files, and uninstalling/ reinstalling. I tried literally everything myself. I had given Apex, steam, and all the and EAC.exe w/in the Apex folder run as admin privileges. On my drive that has Apex, I also have Blizzard games. I deleted all my Blizzard files, and when I went to launch Apex I got one of the Windows warnings asking if Steam had access to make changes to my computer (the admin access) I accidentally hit escape and then apex started to launch, for some reason that made my computer BLUE SCREEN. I started to freak out, when my computer rebooted I revoked admin access to Steam, apex, and the EAC stuff. For some reason, this fixed my issues. When I had the blue screen it said driver power state failure. I don't know why this worked but so far it has worked for me. I'm just explaining everything that I did/ happened to me. I feel your pain.
