Ever since Season 5 started, there's a process called Antimalware Service Executable that shows up in the task manager every time i launch Apex, it spikes up the cpu to 100% and the entire pc lags and become very slow, it stays that way for about 10-15 minutes before its back to normal (which is around 10-15%). I tried the solutions online which suggested i turn off the task scheduler or add apex/origin as an exclusion but nothing seems to work.It was perfectly fine before the Season 5 update.

Man, this is a boring issue i'm getting till the beginning of S5, the same problems and i tried all the tips i've found in the internet.... DEVS PLEASE, TAKE A LOOK AT THAT!!!!!!!!

Since season 5 update when i play i get constant 100%CPU usage and my pc is literally exploding its so hot, but in season 4 everything was good everything was normal i thought it was the windows problem i did unistall the latest update but still its the samepc specs i7gen9 16ram geforce rtx 2070 super, and i play games that req higher specs than apex but they are all on steam and everything works good just games on origin give me 100% cpu even frostpunk or need for speed payback, if someone coul help me fix it please would appreciate it

UPDATE to my previous answer.While it seemed to have been fixed for me after doing what I said, it has started being a problem again yesterday. Excactly the same as before. CPU spikes super high for a few minutes when loading up Apex and lags the whole PC out.

without the bug in a normal run is between 20%-40% in the bug 79%-98%. @odahvinng When i get the bug, i open the task manager and finish apex, then i open it again, this fix the game for that run, but when i close the game, the next time i need to open it and close and open again then is playable again. This is a way i've find to play, this maybe can be useful for you guys, but isn't A FIX, just a bug in the bug xD

in my poor opinion i think this is a bug in something in apex files ou easycheat because till 5season i never had any trouble with my apex, and my pc isn't so weak @HaveFunFriends

@fowl_owo i just added both files as well as apex folder, origin folder, and anticheat folder and i'm still getting the problem. Really weird

Might as well post specs to find out common threads. Is everyone running on windows 10?

@SerialTurd I don't think specs are a problem because as i said the game was working completely fine before season 5 even with the anti cheat and windows defender still running, and yes to your question.
