Apex  stuck at 60 fps using a 240 hertz monitor

So like the title says my game is stuck at 60 fps.
Just to break down what I tried I have changed all my settings to low reinstalled the game, deleted all the files, launched the game on  steam and the ea app and I have even tried a second account which shows the same issue

outside the game I have checked my graphics settings. my monitor is showing at 240 fps, I check the nvidia control panel settings which also show 240 fps

Whenever I load up other games, they load and show 240fps  apex is the only game thats keeping me stuck at 240. Anyone have any idea what in the setting is doing this, before this season 20 update the game was running at 240 just fine and now nothing not too sure whats left to do
