Apex  stuck at 60 fps using a 240 hertz monitor

So like the title says my game is stuck at 60 fps. Just to break down what I tried I have changed all my settings to low reinstalled the game, deleted all the files, launched the game on  steam an...

It is likely that you have some limiter for your fps e.g. Nvidia control panel or AMD settings or even Apex command line prompt may have max fps limiter (if your monitor refresh rate factually is 240Hz). Make a clean install of graphics drivers and if that does not help, set command line option in apex to unlimited.
