apex causes discord and background audio to stop working

How much is your CPU usage? Try to reduce Apex's priority to normal if it is on high.

already tried that, unfortunately it gives the same result

I have an idea.

Press the Win key, type sound and press enter.

In the window on the top right click sound control panel.

Then click the audio device your using and select properties.

Then click the Advanced tab at the top and untick all the boxes in the Exclusive mode section.

Click Apply.

Then in the previous window go to the Recording tab and find the Mic device you using.

select properties, then advanced, then untick the Exclusive mode boxes and apply.

Now try out the game with discord

got exactly the same issue : only on discord !

oK i play apex and the cpu working hard: i5 750 oc 3.6ghz

BUT the issue also happens on discord itself.

Seems there's a littel glitch somewhere.

For instance playing warzone (much heavier game) on battle net and the issue never occurs...

FIY after shutting own apex and discord my cpu is stucked on " sound isolation process" cannot close...

have to do it manually and everything's fine.
