I've had the same problem, where as soon as apex opened up my mic started crackling on discord. By looking a bit through it I found that the bug was due to Voicemeter and to solve it i had to stop using Voicemeter for my mic, which is unfortunate since it sucks, Voicemeter helped quite a lot, but anyway, I solved the problem for myself, and if you also use Voicemeter or any other program the serves the same purpose you should maybe look into it.
This has started happening to me over the last couple days as well, all the same symptoms and have tried the same solutions. I’m running a Blue yeti microphone through USB seperate to my headset as I like to do recordings from time to time. I thought maybe it was an issue with the microphone specifically but seeing as others are having the issue with different mics, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Why the issue haven't been fixed yet?
