hey @GameLostXception ,

had this problem several times in the past. Check your graphics card, remove the graphics card and reinstall it 100% correctly. It can also help to carefully clean the Pcie Slot with a fine brush. Make sure that the graphics card is really fully seated in the Pcie slot.The pcie connection of the graphics card should not be touched with your fingers if possible. It is best to clean it with a cloth soaked in alcohol or acetone. Incidentally, gasoline lighter is also suitable.

Before that, however, I would suggest reinstalling the graphics driver by uninstalling it using the DDU tool.

Removing all C ++ programs has also fixed the error. To do this, you should then download x64 and x86 from Microsoft and install the new ones again after uninstalling the old C ++ versions. Then have Apex Legends repaired via Origin or Steam.

Overclocking the Bclk can also cause this error to occur.

Hi @Sick1Click, thanks for your feedback.

I have tried all the software solution you've listed already without success: making sure I had only the Visual C++ installations I needed, that the x86 and 64bits installations would be on the exact same version, resetting completely my GPU drivers via the dedicated AMD utility, wiping out Apex entirely and re-installing, etc.

I also don't use overclocking and my GPU settings (fans speed, graphic rendering, anti-aliasing, etc.) are all set to one of the default presets.

Regarding the hardware connectivity check I highly doubt it would be a good culprit for the reason that I play a lot of other GPU demanding games without any issues: Doom Eternal, Sea of Thieves, League of Legends, Borderlands 3, etc., etc. I may give it a try eventually if out of leads.

My guess is more on an issue between the game and the DirectX drivers: I have heard of people getting rid of the issue by disabling some graphic features either in-game or via their GPU utilities. I had many attempts without success unfortunately and am still looking for the magic combo.
