The client failed anti-cheat backend check

I can't play for 3 days now, this "The client failed anti-cheat backend check" shows up every 10-15 minutes. No programs related to the game except G-hub. I even deleted this but this error keeps repeating. I reinstalled the game later, same problem. Any ideas EA?

There are various issues related to the error "The client failed an anti-cheat backend check", and many users believe the problem has become more frequent after a recent update.

    For example:

In Windows environments, some players fixed the issue by disabling overclocking, a solution that was discussed in Korean communities.

Similarly, disabling MSI Afterburner has worked for others.

There are also reports that a recent Discord overlay update may be related to the problem.

And one well-known cause is the presence of Daemon Tools, which can trigger this error.

Additionally, even if reWASD was uninstalled long ago, leftover traces can still be found using tools like Revo Uninstaller, Everything, PowerShell, or pnputil. Some users have claimed that deleting these remnants completely resolved the issue. This is similar to reports from users who said a clean reinstall of Windows fixed the problem—suggesting that these leftovers might be the root cause.

There are also theories that manual server-side reviews may result in users being kicked from matches if their gameplay seems suspicious, even without actual cheats.

What’s certain is that these backend errors have become noticeably more frequent after the recent update.

I have already solved the problem myself.

As you indicated, I deleted the leftover traces of REWASD (it turns out they were in the system for almost a year)

A friend of mine isn't able to play without getting a crash every half an hour, and this happens since a couple of weeks at the time I'm writing.

I think Respawn or EA should check the whole EAC thing to discover incompatibilities around...
