Apex Cross Progression/ Merging

I want to cross my progression from my PS5 to my Steam account. However, I can't seem to get my progress to transfer. I've seen many posts about accounts being linked to a previous EA account preventing them from transferring the data, but I have no recollection of having a different account. And if there is a way to check previously linked accounts It'd be nice. If I could merge my accounts or be told what EA account may have my PS5 data, it would be helpful... please help!
