Apex feels horrible on the xbox series x compared to the xbox one

Apex feels horrible on the xbox series x, ever since i played it felt slow and the aim assist is way to strong especially when not ads and a lot of input lag. I now also play on the xbox one s at my gf's house and the game runs so much better on the older console. I've found other posts about people with the same isseu but there was never an answer. So is there a way to fix this issue? Or maybe a eay to download the xbox one version of the game?
