My FPS just got cut in HALF when i am flying in the dropship. Had constant 170-200fps sitting in the dropship, waiting. Now, 90-100fps. And exactly the same fps spikes that you experience for no "hardware related" reason, because it is not like the CPU or GPU is at 100% when my constant 240fps drop down to 170, just by looking in one direction, and instantly spikes back to 240fps when i turn the camera 30degree to the left.
Even when i turn the resolution down to 720p, (from 1080p) while looking towards that direction, the Fps counter is not moving at all, the CPU is below 30% if at all, therefore, it has nothing to do with "underutilized" GPU, because ofc i tried switching the Settings back to higher quality, even enabled heavier GPU Settings like FSAA and Shadow Quality, still, EXACTLY the same FPS, while looking in that direction.
Also some "interesting" facts about the Game Engine and well, sadly bad coding.
When i watch the Storyline from the Mainmenu, this chatter between characters, where ALL your GPU has to do is showing 2D Pictures and PLAIN TEXT,..well, my GPU goes crazy and eats 50Watts more and needs 30% more GPU, JUST TO WATCH PLAIN TEXT AND PICTURES,...why ?
And another thing are "transparent" Textures in the Game, like those cool Playermarkers that you drop. When you move close, very close to those markers or try to zoom through with a 3x Scope as example,...well, gg. Needing 100Watts more to look ZOOMED through transparent textures (or through the Fire SPRITES of a Thermite also very funny how crazy your GPU goes trying to zoom through that)
PS: no need to ask me for dxdiags or what pc i have, i know what the issue is here therefore, i know there is nothing you can do dear Support Team, i hope you dont mind my ranting here, but i just wanted the OP to not have high hopes that anything will be fixxed. All there is to do is to WAIT, until the first storm of the "patch" has settled, and the game somehow magically "finetunes" itself again. ^^
But yeah,...watching a COMIC, with Pictures and plain text from the Mainmenu, and my GPU goes BRRRRRRRRRRR. Oh yeah, i tested it on 3 different PCs, with Nvidia/AMD/Intel Combinations, it has nothing to do with Drivers, Chipsets or anything, it is just an "error" in the Game or bad, very bad implementation, into a Game Engine, that was not "meant" to support those features and moreover,...whoever thought it was a good idea to "connect" Consoles, PC Gamers, Nintendo Switch Players, Steam Deck Players...literally ALL OF THEM" just to put a nice sticker with Crossplay on there, needs to be .....
....anyway, it just sad to see all those Millions of Dollars, we are talking about HUNDREDS of Millions that EA made through this game, NOT being invested back into MORE Support, MORE QA and BETTER Servers, Coding, Features. Just imagine 50Million Dollars taken into the hand to make Apex GREAT again,...how much would that hurt from the BILLIONS you already earned from us ? Would it be to difficult to explain that to all the Stackholders in the yearly conference meeting....
I am so upset...i spent MONTHS of my LIFE the since 2019 to find "PROBLEMS" and "TUNE" and "OPTIMIZE" this damn game and its engine, and in the end, it was and STILL is, all EAs Fault in the end and had nothing to do on my end. Whatever,...nothing will change, therefore, the only solution is to ignore those weird Framestutters when all that is going on, is nothing in the game, and you just pan your camera,...the best thing to do is to just IGNORE and STOP asking yourself WHY does my GPU need so much POWERRRRR and goes crazy, when all i do is watching 2D Pictures on a dark background with plain text...
Imagine...50MILLION Dollars, 3% of the Profit,...back in the game, damn, Apex would become the Best Optimized Game the Gaming World has seen...oh wait, nevermind,...need to buy new EA Stocks :D

This is so bad...it is literally eating my mind, triggering my ocd and my logic thinking so much,...no words really (well kinda, i wrote a whole damn essay because i am so annoyed). Anyway, thanks to the Support Team here in the Forum and the Community People, they TRY their best to fix problems (which sure often works out with other issues people have) but THIS, THIS here, is something, only GOD can help us with,...please, fix the GAME God, thank you ! :D
