Apex freeze 100% CPU Usage
Apex freezes and will not close, have to open task manager and close the game from there on my second monitor as my main monitor goes black when I try to alt + tab. Win key + Shift + Right arrow key...

@MightyBattlePug Same build except a RTX 2070. I think they're aware of the issue and are working on it, but my question is how long is this going to take? This is literally game breaking. This should be their #1 priority right now. I wouldn't care as much if this wasn't the main game I play every single day.
Btw when task manager is open, right click the icon in the hidden icon section in the bottom right and toggle on "always on top" it'll show up no matter what.

same issue thanks for the tip about bringing the task manager always on top
tried many workarounds and tinkering to fix this but no joy, noticed the 100% cpu usage too...

There is a few temporary workarounds in the thread mentioned higher.

I'm still freezing a ton at, on, or just after the hero select screen.

I should note the freezing got really bad when duo mode was initially released. The problem was less frequent but still a few times a night since the release of Season 3 or earlier.
It's just sad that the devs won't even acknowledge that this problem exist
