Apex keeps asking to login everyday in steam

Every time I am trying to play APEX LEGENDS , it is requiring a verification code, I have now entered this code once and when I come to log in again the next day, it requires the code again, but yet it stipulates that you only need to do this "once"! … why am I being asked to verify my account everyday !?
