Cannot enter Ranked mode

I’ve been playing Apex Legends since the day it was released, and I’m still playing it to this day.

But honestly, it’s frustrating to see a game with this much potential being handled so poorly. At this point, it feels like Apex is in the hands of an incompetent team, especially when you compare it to how Fortnite is managed by Epic Games.

The difference in support, updates, and overall quality is very noticeable. A game like Apex deserves far better than what it’s currently getting.

Were you in a ranked match immediately prior to this error showing up, or has that been appearing for a little while now? Based on how long you mentioned playing, I assume that's on this account and not an older one - this one is level 20 and completed the challenges needed for ranked, right?

 There are no bans or restrictions on the account that I can see, so I'd try the following to force an account resync and see if that changes things at all.

• Fully close Apex
• Log out of PSN
• Restart your console
• Log back in
• Restore licenses on your console
• Relaunch Apex

Aside from that, which data center are you typically connecting to? Are you able to switch data centers to see if that makes a difference?

If you're able to connect to other modes, can you try a couple pubs or Mixtape matches and then see if you're able to swap back to ranked afterwards?

While less likely since you've mentioned being able to hop in on other accounts from the same console, it may be worth clearing local Apex save data and reinstalling. As a last resort this won't impact your progress, but may wipe any individual settings changes you've made.

I have already tried all of these steps. Whenever I try to enter Ranked, the game goes to the loading screen, then suddenly the screen turns black and it crashes and gives me an error. I've tried everything you can think of.

We'll pass along that you're seeing this error, but I have no other steps to offer currently in that case, I'm afraid.

This issue started happening after your latest update, and honestly, you should be ashamed. This game is clearly not in the hands of the right people. If it were managed by a company like the one behind Fortnite, it would probably be the best game in the world every year. I’ve spent a lot of time and money on this game, just to be told today that you don’t even know what’s going on or where the problem is
