Apex Legends - Constant FPS Drop

Greetings,

Maybe this topic has been talked about already but I couldn't find any.

I currently run a Acer Nitro 5:
I7-8750H

GTX 1050TI - 4GB Dedicated

16RAM

With this setup I run Asseto Corsa online on High Graphics without any issues, but these last 2 weeks of playing Apex Legends I can barely stay on 60FPS.

Whenever I engage in a fight with a lot of animation, the game simply drops to 20FPS, while I was running this game on launch on 120FPS.
I'm forced to lower all my settings to low or off, cap my FPS at 65 (My monitor) & turn on VSync, but it doesn't help... Some times it simply drops out of nowhere and I am lagging horrifically.

I am open to any solutions at this point, because if I can't solve it I will uninstall the game because it is simply unplayable at this point.

Thank you all!

  • Same here with 1050ti went from 100 fps in training mode at launch to 60 after some updates.. I can still play.. The only thing u can do is use adaptive fps target to increase fps..
  • Same here, AMD 8350, GTX 1070, 16 GB RAM ...and its getting worse with every update ☹️
