  • Hello

My problem is that i can't set 21:9 aspect ratio 2560x1080, while my monitor is ultrawide and 2560x1080 native.when i want change ratio it is only 16:10/9 5:4 & 4:3. Ive tried to change res in txt file, nothing. Im out of ideas guys, help

Edit: im also get this error, when i set 2560x1080 in file

  • I would like to decrease the resolution and tun it at 1680x720 on my 21:9 monitor to increase the fps (currently running at 80fps instead of the 144 I'd need, with Low settings), but if i force the resolution to 1680x720 via the launch options I get the "resolution not supported" error.

  • You need to set windows desktop resolution on that monitor to your desired value prior to starting the game.

If you can get what-ever funky res running on the windows desktop the game will default to that as its "native" setting.

Now if your monitor doesnt support that res via windows you could try custom res in Nvidia control panel.

In playing around with this I find sometimes you get black borders instead of full screen, sometimes its fullscreen.

    Good luck!

  • The only available resolution is the 2560 x 1080 keeping the 21:9 aspect ratio.
I got a GTX 1070 and at that resolution, with low settings, I only got an average of 80 FPS. I would like to try the 1680 x 720 resolution to see if I can squeeze out the 144 FPS I need to match my monitor refresh rate.

I tried using the launch settings (with the -w and -h options) but I get the "resolution not supported" error.

If I force the borderless window, I can get the 1680 x 720 but, of course, the game window is small on the screen. Can someone please help with it?

  • Changing the windows resolution seems like a tweak, not a proper solution, since I want to keep the native res on my desktop but selecting a different one in game.
