APEX LEGENDS AND TWITCH: LINKING CONSOLE ACCOUNTS

Hi all, we're seeing that there's some confusion over linking your ea account and your Twitch Prime accounts, hopefully we can help.

The first thing to do is double check that the EA account you're using is in fact linked with your PlayStation or Xbox account. 

1: Log into Origin.com

2: Mouseover your name in the bottom left, then click EA Account & Billing.

3: On this next page make sure you're in the About Me section, then scroll down and you can see if your Console account is shown under Connected Accounts.

If your account is here, great! Link your Twitch Prime account by logging into the site here and authorizing: https://twitch.amazon.com/prime/loot/apex

If  there are no connected console accounts, that's ok, we just need to find the right EA Account. If you've been playing any EA games, you will have an account, but you might not remember it.

1: First, Log Out of Origin/EA Help. 

2: Now go to the EA Help and choose Log In. 

3: Use the sign in option for your console, and log in with your console credentials. 



4: Now, click Accounts at the top of the page, and Change or Recover Password. This will bring you to a page prompting you to log in using the email address for the correct EA account.

5: If you remember your password, great! If not, you can reset it from this page using the Forgot Your Password link.

6: Now you can check the About Me section, scroll down and confirm that you're using the right EA account for your console!

7: Once this account is confirmed to be the right one, you can link it with your Twitch Prime account using this link: https://twitch.amazon.com/prime/loot/apex

If you have accidentally linked the wrong EA account, you can use these steps to unlink it. 

1. Log into help.ea.com with the incorrectly linked account, then choose Contact Us.
2. Choose Apex Legends as your game.
3. Pick the platform that you play on.
4. Click Twitch Prime for the topic.
5. Click Account link issue for the issue.
6. You’ll be taken to a page that says Click here if you need to unlink your EA Account from your Twitch account.

You can also go right to the page here.

Once you’ve unlinked your EA Account from your Twitch account, you’ll need to unlink your accounts from Twitch, too.

1. Go to twitch.tv.
2. Go to your Settings.
3. Click Connections.
4. Scroll down to Other connections.
5. Click Disconnect next to Electronic Arts.
