Bring back human support

Hi EA,

I’m reaching out after multiple failed attempts to resolve this through your support system & and even your twitter account, but to no success.

I was targeted by hackers and ended up that my account was confirmed as compromised, and EA helped me recover it. During that time, a third party - the ones whom stole my account, had full control and used my account to carry out unauthorized and prohibited activity - Cheating, for what i was told & bad behaviour.

This activity did not originate from me, and it should be clearly visible in your data that the account was accessed from a different location and device than my normal usage. My in-game name is even "FriendlySoloQBot", as i am a pathfinder main.

I have more than 2000+ hours in Apex legends and always end up coming back after havent touched it for a while, as it will still be my favourite fps game, and i have even spend several thousands euro's on cosmetics and what not.

But despite this, my appeals have only received what appear to be automated responses that do not address these facts - which seems highly that it's an ai loop response. I need a human to understand the facts of this case and how severe it is for such a big fan as i am. I am one of your most loyal players and it seems i'm being treated as a spam message, and not taken seriously, sucks. all that time and money spend on a game that i lose so easily to some loser whom can't win without ruining it for other people.

It is very frustrating that confirmed unauthorized access is not being properly considered.

I am asking for this case to be escalated and reviewed manually with attention to login/IP history or in general, just taken seriously.

    We do not use AI or automated support or responses to appeals. The Terms of Service team that investigates all appeals is fully human, though they'll often use templates when sending a response to keep the information provided consistent with others in that particular situation.

    The Twitter account does not offer support I'm afraid, so the best and only route to have a ban investigated would be through this appeals process. You're welcome to send another appeal to have a different member of the ToS team take another look. Other access can certainly be taken into account, but isn't always the sole factor.

    I'm not able to see or provide specific details about this particular ban, but please be sure you're submitting an appeal with the steps above rather than just contacting standard support and the ToS team will be able to take another look at the situation.

  • Check this. Dude, I appealed my false ban on Apex. Look at this screenshot. I sent it 10AM, within 2 minutes, I immediately got the same auto response. No support. No help. No reason. No response. Nothing.

    I have never cheated, and will NEVER cheat. But you guys have a serious false ban problem, because there is no way you are trying to pin me for "gameplay enhancement" when I never did anything.

    I don't use weird gear, I provided VIDEO EVIDENCE as well, and nobody viewed my video. I provided a public link, and I can still see the video is sitting on 0 views. There is no human help.

    My account is purely just stolen from me by EA.

    What do you want me to do?

    Genuienly, I am asking for real. I will do anything.

    WHAT do we need to do to get real help?

    Hey Azrael_RSA​,

    Afraid I'm not able to see the full details on your situation, however if you've reached the maximum number of appeals for this action and the ToS team declined to remove the penalty, it's entirely possible they'll just continue to provide the last message for additional appeals moving forward. That would not require a lengthy investigation at all.

    A video showing normal gameplay as evidence really tells us nothing unfortunately. That could mean nothing was used while recording the video, but that doesn't take into account any other time accessing the game that wasn't recorded. Our Terms of Service team would rely on our own records and information to make their decisions when looking at an appeal.

    I have yet been given a fair trial and research from your side. And i have even seen that my penalty history is empty, which would normaly mean i don't have any ban, but logging in, i can still see i am banned. did you remove me being able to see the ban, so i can't appeal it and even with no notice. as someone with 3000+ hours, i think i deserve more attention for help, as i have shown to be a loyal player/customer. 
    and an another thing. you mention they use templates to answer people, which sounds scuffed and suspicious. then when in some of my appeals i demand to get an deeper understanding to why the decision what made and why certain factors are not included. explain then, why did they just copy/paste the same template, which explains nothing.

    still hard to proove it's humans behind these cases, but even if so, it seems to me they don't really go through any cases, but auto responses them to quickly get through them, as they get paid by how many appeals they go through and not how well they do there job, as there are no variety or change in any responses. i once again, demand a better job looking at my appeals

    I am seeing a lot of chat on Twitter and Forums regarding false bans. And some players reporting a simple Logitech device or the G Hub program is triggering the false bans.

    THIS IS A bug. And you guys need to talk about it and admit it to the player base. I have a Logitech headset. I do not cheat. This is a serious bug and a lot of players are suffering from it.

    However, It seems my penalty is removed, but my case is still open. Also, I can access my account again, no feedback, no emails from EA regarding this. There is no communication.
