Apex Legends Audio Delay

80 degrees C should be OK. Maybe a little warm, but that's still within the temperature range for most GPUs. 

I am curious about something else. What happens if you log into Windows with a different admin user and use that to launch Apex Legends? If you need more info on how to create a new admin user check out the Microsoft Support website. Once you've had the chance to give that a shot please let me know if you're still seeing any audio or other performance issues. Thanks again!

So unfortunately, after making a new admin user and trying it out, it was fine for a game or two. I decided to go back to my main user and waited till I noticed any audio or video issues. Once I noticed it, I went back to the admin user and tried it out. In the admin account, the audio delay and visual issues (such as gun being invisible for a bit in my hand) were present.

What device are you currently running your sound through? Are you using headphones, or are you running through speakers? 

I am using my hyperx cloud2 headphones for audio.

What do you currently have the in-game volume set to for Apex Legends? If it's not set to 100%, can you try setting the volume to maximum and see if the sound is still delayed? I know that's a weird request, but there have been cases in the past where that has helped with similar issues.

Gotcha, thanks for taking a look at that. 

Have you tried reinstalling your sound drivers to see if that helps at all? I'm curious if there might be something going on with the drivers that could be causing the weird sound issues. 

The Microsoft Support website has an FAQ with more information on how to update or reinstall audio drivers. Check out the Fix your audio drivers section for details. Let me know if the same issues are still happening after that. Thanks again.

Can we also try running the Windows System File Checker tool to see if that helps? If there are any issues with other Windows System files that may help correct them.

Hmm, I see. It might be best to reach out to Microsoft Support or the manufacturer of your sound card to see if they have any insight on what could be causing this to happen. It sounds like something is getting corrupted over time, but I'm not really sure what keeps causing it to happen.

After trying various things I come to realize that my specific issue was being caused by my internal hard drive. I realized that some of my games recently began to take longer than usual to load on it, so I removed everything on the hard drive and onto an external SSD. I also ran some check disk commands but I am unsure how useful it was to this specific issue. Hopefully this helps you out! I know this issue is annoying.
