@EA_Kent Yes!! I have the same problem with black bars at 1024x768 resolution before you remove the commands mat_letterbox_aspect_goal
mat_letterbox_aspect_threshold worked normally, now I'm having to play with black bars!

I even formatted my pc and installed the apex again and logged in to see if I could put it in full screen and nothing! everything default!

Ah, I see what you mean. Are you using a 4:3 aspect ratio?

  yes! is the native of my monitor is 4: 3, for forcing me to use 16:9 this is bugging my resolution and I have this damn black bars

    Gotcha.
    
    There was a patch earlier this year that disabled full-screen for 4:3 aspect ratio. We've received a lot of feedback on this since it happened and will continue forwarding it along to the Apex Legends team, but unfortunately I haven't heard any updates on of this change will be reverted in the future.
