Hey, @FatDaddyMangos
Do you have anything plugged into your USB drive? If you have the game installed on an external hard drive, make sure there aren't files on both the internal and external drive. That can cause some weird performance issues.
Have you tried a power cycle yet?
Power Cycle
- Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
- Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game.
Yeah I have done a power cycle and rebuilt the database and that stopped the PS4 from shutting down when I open apex but instead it just now sits on a loading screen. I don't have anything plugged in apart from power and HDMI, ive got the digital copy of apex so I don't have it on a disc

This could be a silly question but is your PS4 well ventilated and dust free? Do you have a lot of space available on your hard drive or is it almost full? Sounds like it could be overheating if the PlayStation is automatically turning off.
You may want to reach out to PlayStation Support to verify there aren't any potential long term issues with the console.- 7 years ago
My PlayStation has plenty of ventilation as it sits onto of my desk and my hard drive has about 100gb available, the issue only happens on apex

That's really odd and I think it's best we get an EA Advisor to pull up your account to see what's happening and troubleshoot this further with you. I'm sorry this is happening and they should be able to pinpoint the cause of this right away. Keep us updated on the fix if you have a chance.
