Apex Legends causes pc to freeze ( Randomly )

Hi, Apex Legends constantly keeps crashing, the odd thing is it doesn't only "crash" it freezes my pc, its completely random, once it "freezes" everything on my pc freezes, I can still hear my friend on discord for roughly 5seconds? or until I try to move my mouse/click on my keyboard, it just instantly freezes and I'm forced to restart my pc.

Yes, I have updated my graphics card, I've searched on this forum/youtube about this issue, I have tried most of the things that I could find & nothing works. I have not had any problems with other games I have played apart from Apex Legends, crashing

z390 MS-B916
16gb ram
i9-9900K 3.6ghz
Rtx2080ti

    I have the same issue and I also have an  i9-9900K and RTX2080ti

    Hey @redtiger64 / @ICEL3R 

    If possible can you monitor the usage of your CPU and see if the usage drops to 1% before freezing?

    If possible can you attach a dxdiag file to your post, this way we have more information about your system 🙂

    The Freeze is caused by Applications using Hardware Acceleration like Discord , Web browsers etc..........

    Try disabling the above and see it resolves your problem

    @redtiger64  Bro then for sure its a driver issue..... i have the same issue with AMD drivers , i have a * Radeon 5700 XT Red Devil

    I've had this issue as well.  I've literally tried everything you can find for a fix in a google search; rolling back drivers, repairing the game, registry edits, and many, many other things.  I have found a fix that works for me:  Cap the game at 144 fps or lower.  For whatever reason, Apex is unstable at higher frame-rates (possibly why so many with 2080tis are having problems). Give it a try, I hope it helps.

    @Zeelmaekers hello, I crashed a couple of times, I've monitored and my CPU does not go down to 1% before freezing sadly
