Did you try forcing the game audio to run in a different language before this started happening?
Same issue here.. I've done all the research I can handle the past few days, Apex will still crash after the intro sequence with error:
Couldn't initialize sound.
Please make sure you have a sound playback device that is enabled and properly configured.
