@EzyHawk i thought about victory too soon
So, yesterday i managed to play about 2 hours without any problem. Then, the game crashed on a blackscreen. I saw that before, but now this seems to be the main issue.
i installed MSI afterburner to monitor a bit the specs of the GPU but everything seems fine.
now it's total randomness. sometimes, i can play just for 30 seconds, sometimes i can go on for 10 minutes, but I can't still finish a game properly
IMPORTANT: i have two monitors, one on HDMI plugged into the gpu, the other on VGA. (i use them for videoediting). I play on the first one, the bigger, deactivating the VGA one. When the game crashes sometimes the signal goes automatically on the VGA one, while the HDMI loses the signal. Afterburner detects that the connection to GPU is lost.
any clues about what to do?
Have you taken a look at your hardware temperatures while you're playing Apex Legends? I'm wondering if your GPU might be getting too hot and throttling itself. If you have your VGA connection plugged into your motherboard rather than your video card that could explain why only the HDMI display is losing signal.

hey @EA_Kent
temperature seems fine, around 40°
i'm suspecting about voltage. Today the PC shut down while i was playing and the UPS started to bip as for an overvoltage.how can i fix this? of course the voltage set up is blocked on afterburner and I'm afraid about frying evertyhing if I modify the BIOS.
Maybe getting another UPS? - EA_Kent6 years ago

I'm hesitant to recommend replacing hardware because I know that can be a hassle. It might be a good idea to try reaching out to the manufacturer of your power supply to see if they can offer any insight on what might be causing this. They may also have some advice on how to fix the issue as well.
