@raithian25
It looks like there is a new driver for your RTX 2080 card.
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/142225/en-us
- raithian257 years agoNot applicableI updated to the latest driver prior to the error but haven't restarted my PC yet. I'll return if I experience the error again after my PC has been restarted.
- MaxxBa11er7 years agoNot applicableI am receiving same error, have updated driver.

Also having the same issue here, using 2080ti. Latest drivers been updated to 4.18.81v. Restarted pc and did not help. Crashing in mid or late game. Was trying different graphics settings- low, mid, high and it did not solved issue.

the way i fixed my issue was to reinstall it to a different hard drive, roll back drivers to 417.71 and then restart the comp (you might need to verify files on game as well)
after that i was able to play normally. would have to reinstall back on my SSD to see if it works normally still.
hopefully it helps others- REDMVGE7 years agoNot applicableThis seems more like it randomly didn't install falsely this time than the HDD actually being a solution.
Also, what if you just don't have the extra space on another drive? :/ This still requires a patch or something.

The new drivers from Nvidia do fix this issue. I gave the latest drivers clean installed and I still get the same crash. Please fix.

Hi, having the same error over and over again..happens every second game now.
RTX 2080 TI with the latest driver (418.81)
Hotfix please..
- KovarnyPidor7 years agoNot applicableYup. Every second game...

Same problem. MSI RTX 2080 8gb with latest driver.
BTW yesterday everything worked stably and without errors, but today there is crush every 5-10 min.
- lordsiggi7 years agoNot applicableI spent the majority of my day off yesterday trying to play this game for more than 2 minutes. I have a 1080 with a 7700k. Just want you guys to know, i think it has something to do with Windows "full screen optimizations". Turning that off in the exe makes it so it wont launch the game. HOWEVER:
THE FIX
I've found a fix. Use windowed mode. WIndowed, or windowed borderless, both let me play the game into the wee hours of the morning, and i pulled off my first win! I'm about to check and see if i can play again now, and will update back.

Hey guys
I found a fixed for Nvidia people. Please roll back to the driver 417.71 (DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE DRIVER 418.81, BECAUSE ITS CRASHING THE GAME)
This driver will work and it won't crash the Apex legend game anymore. Do not download the latest Nvidia driver. Just download 417.71 driver and you're game will be fixed.
Happy gaming everyone! take care

Crashing persists.. Still no fix.. This thread should not be marked as "Solved"..
