My Rig: rtx 2080, 7600k OC 5ghz
My problem: Every match freeze and crash to desktop without error code
I tried tons of the solutions listed above and nothing was working I was losing my mind. Here is what finally worked. (A combination of a ton of solutions)
1. DDU and reinstall nvidia graphics driver 417.71 driver (please use DDU to uninstall)
2. Play in fullscreen, low graphics settings on all options and acceptable Vram usage at 4gb in the graphics options
3. Add exceptions in the windows firewall for Apex legends and Origin Launcher
4. Disable all Overlays (msi afterburner ect), Disable Origin overlay and FPS counter (Origin -> application settings -> Origin in game (disable Overlay and FPS counter!)
5.If CPU is overclocked downclock a bit (I did .3ghz from 5ghz to 4.7ghz)
I went from crashing every game in a similar manner to many RTX 2080, rtx 2080ti posters here to no crash since.
If someone is still having issues with an OC cpu and a rtx 2080 or 2080ti please try all those steps and let me know if it works! Try not to skip a step even if it seems trivial.
Seriously, uninstall with DDU and install 417.71 (https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/141906/en-us). My 2080ti is now perfect again, abeit with older drivers that I cant bench.

I can confirm for me uninstalling the latest Nvidia drivers and reverting to 417.75 resolved my issue for now.

I want to do this, also have RTX 2080 TI Nvidia GeForce card. However, when I try to install the 417.71 driver it for some reason claims to not be compatible with my version of Windows. Which is absurd considering it's the Windows 10 64 bit driver and I HAVE Windows 10 64 bit. I've seen others online claiming to have the exact issue I'm having with NOT being able to install older drivers because of this, but none of them seem to have found a fix.
Any ideas? I'd owe you my life if you can somehow help me get back to the 417.71 driver!
I also did a clean uninstall of all the NVIDIA drivers/etc. using DDU while in Safe Mode and STILL can't install the 417.71 driver due to the error that claims my version of Windows is not compatible.

If u are using Nvidia Card use driver 411.70 and before playin stop all background apps like daemon tools, CPU Temp monitors etc. Still playin without crash with that driver version.
