@Posthite I totally get your frustration, but the devs already mentioned a few times the crashes are top priority for them. It's just not that easy to fix unfortunately.
If it would have been an easy fix, they would have patched it already and pushed an update. But even if they find a fix they first need to get approval before they can push it, which can take days again.
I know little about development, but I do know about marketing and it would be just dumb for a company to constantly talk and mention the negatives of their product. If they did, they would've been a terrible company imo.
You can read more about their approach on crashes here: https://www.reddit.com/r/apexlegends/comments/av86d6/respawn_check_in_2262019/

Let's try to be patient and provide them with as much details and experiences as we can, not things like: FIX YOUR GAME1!1!#. But rather helpful information that they can use to create a fix. That will actually help and be beneficial to every legend here.
@NoCureForFailure I've seen this update last week. But there, like everywhere else, the devs are only talking about Nvidia users. On top of that, they're using the large amount of computer configs the users have as an excuse. But hey, they're not the only dev team having to deal with that. Does it stop other developpers to produce game on pc ?
My other concern is that this isn't the first time the dev encountered this issue. The DXGI error was already there back in titanfall 2. Which is concerning, because it implies that this got no fix since their last game.
As for the gathering info, there's another topic about it. I already gave my info (the dxdiag was asked), but finding out that this topic is marked as solved, is really frustrating.
It feels like the devs are hiding the issue under the carpet

@Posthite Yeah initially they only mentioned Nvidia in one of their check-ins, but got back on that and mentioned they are working/testing with different types of cards such as AMD.
Other dev teams definitely can struggle with problems like this, but here we are talking about a game that has been released just 4 weeks ago, and got very popular, very fast. With currently about 50 million players worlwide.
That's great, but also very hard for a dev team and I can imagine it's pretty overwhelming for them too.
I see, I didn't know about that The DXGI error issue, and how it appeared before in Titanfall 2..
This topic however, should indeed not have the status solved, I agree.
Thanks for sharing your info and your effort, I really hope the game will be better optimized soon.

For clarity, a post marked as a solution doesn't necessarily mean it's fix for everyone experiencing that specific issue, but an identified solution that works. When users use the search bar at the top or click on the tile for "approved solutions" it will help throw those up at the top for easier navigation. You also earn XP for identifying a workaround fix!
This post was marked as as solution because at the time it was a fix which worked for a lot of users. It was a hot topic so it helped for visibility purposes, too. I went ahead and removed the solution now since this discussion is ongoing though.

Not that it matters, but I have a core group of friends who play every game together. There are 5 of us. Two of us had periodic crashes, and it got so disappointing trying to play together that all 5 of us just uninstalled the game. We don't plan on coming back.
50 million players, so I'm sure Apex isn't that concerned about this small player base experiencing this issue. But it IS losing players. I think that you need a few more resources on finding a fix here./Plebian
