Just now for the first time I crashed in Apex in the lobby itself. I opened the game and noticed most of the top tabs were inaccessible and my currencies were "loading" (similar to when you use crafting metals to buy an item). I went to start matchmaking after seeing this for like 40 seconds without anything changing, and then 5 seconds later my game crashed. I reopened it and everything opened like normal with no loading currencies.
So unless this crash was for a different reason, I guess it is not limited to just in-game.
