The only tips I could recommend, if turning graphics down all the way doesn't work, are:
1. Turn off all Origin Overlay/Notification/Cloud Save settings.
2. Right click on Apex -- Properties -- Compatibility Tab -- Turn on "Run as Administrator" and "Compatibility Mode" (Windows 7) and turn off "Disable full screen optimizations"
3. Follow Step 2, but for Origin.
3. Clean all your caches and temp files (I use CCleaner).
4. Update your drivers (I'm on AMD 19.2.1).
5. Right click on Apex through Origin and Repair.
6. Right click on Apex through Origin and go to "Game Properties" -- Turn OFF "In-Game Overlay" -- Go to second tab and cap your fps (mine is: +fps_max 100)
Nothing I have tried has 100% fixed the problem, but some of these tips may help some of you.
Im running the game on a rx 570 8gb and its running pretty great tbh. I dont really thing that game performance is causing the problem
