1080TI FE Fix that solved the issue 100 % for me at least , thought to share it as it might help others :
Lets start off with the fact that i tried every single fix there is on the web, Reddit , EA forums , YouTube , gaming sites , every fix that been posted regardless of what dose it deal with , drivers , registry , windows updates , anti virus , full screen / windowed , origin in game , etc etc. No thing worked.
After taking a closer look at my GPU while playing the game , i noticed the back to desktop crash happens when ever the card tries to reach its peak voltage , around 1.093V , regardless the fact that i am not overclocking neither my CPU nor the GPU , but for some reason Apex Legends engine did not like it when my card supplied voltage gose any where above 1.0V. Keep on mind the 1080TI FE boost 3 technology automatically boosts the Core and memory clocks while increasing the consumed voltage up to 1.093V under heavy load, its the stock settings from Nvida.
Using MSI After burner along with GPU-Z to monitor my GPU voltage while Under clocking it, i lowered the allowed power limit along with the Core and memory clocks to make sure the card never gose above 1.00 V under full load. My personal settings that achieved this result are : Core Clock = -50 , Memory Clock = -100 , Power Limit = 50 %.
5 days already without a single crash once so ever running the latest Nvidia driver 418.91.
This might or might not work for every one , but give it a try.
