Retrieved my account but I still can't play

My account was compromised and banned last month, but I managed to recover it and get it unbanned with the help of an EA advisor. However, when I tried logging in to play, it said that I needed to link my EA account to my Steam account. The problem is that I can’t link my EA account to my Steam account because it’s currently linked to a different Steam account (the guy who compromised my account) and now I have to wait 365 days to link it back to mine??? I have tried submitting a ticket to EA Help countless times to no avail it because it doesn't make an actual ticket, I also can't seem to get ahold of an ea advisor because whenever I check, it's grayed out.

    Can you actually lift the ban? I doubt if EA is really working seriously? My appeal only took 4 hours from submission to rejection, and they will only reject it or reply with a robot! It's like an emperor, waiting for players to kneel down and beg them! Only ban green players

    Hello kuiizu​,

    are you getting an error message, when you try to submit a ticket? What exactly is greyed out when you try to contact an advisor? At which stage of creating a ticket are you getting this issue?

    I did manage to get my ban appealed, it took them 2 days to do so

  • I don’t get any error message when submitting a ticket. I’m able to fill out the form and I’m taken to the next screen with the support options, but it doesn’t seem like a ticket is actually created. Nothing shows up in the my cases tab, and I don’t receive any confirmation emails about the ticket being made. I also can’t start a chat with an advisor because the chat with us option is greyed out. This happens after I submit the issue description stuff and reach the support options page.

    You're so lucky! I appealed ten times, and they all replied to me using robots

    kuiizu​,

    You can unlink platform accounts from your EA account through the customer portal. If the account was only recently linked, it might say that there's a six-month waiting time to relink the account again - in that case, I would recommend contacting Support again and explaining your situation. They might be able to help you relink the Steam account to your EA account.

    If you cannot create a case because the contact option is greyed out, please try a different browser or device to see if it will work then. Let me know if you have further issues with the contact option.
