Apex Legends Cross Progression lost me all my playstation cosmetics.

None of my playstation cosmetics or heirlooms or coins transferred over to my xbox account which is the highest level. therefore, its the account all previous accounts merged into. So much money and exclusive skins I cannot get again, I really would like this fixed. I don't need a bunch of useless links or corporate scripts like I've gotten from the "advisors" on my case from ea.help. I need help on EA's end to fully merge all of cosmetics and heirlooms. It's unbelievable the hoops I have to jump through to get proper help, very frustrating.

    To confirm was your PSN account linked to a previous EA account prior to the one it is currently linked to with the Xbox platform?

    If so this would be why you don't have items. Progress is stored at an EA account level, and if you unlink the PSN from the EA account to link it to a new EA account you will not take your items or progress with you.

  • Same thing happened to me too. My brother and I had separate XBOX accounts that were never linked onto one EA account, and his and my accounts on apex are together and I basically lost all of my heirlooms and skins. We can't both play at the same time and I lost all of my progress because his account was leveled higher than mine. I spent somewhere around $700-$800 on skins that I can't get back if I made a new account. If they separate again or they just refund all the money, that'd be great but they won't do that.

  • @EA_Illium That is ridiculous. I own both accounts, I spent money on both. Yet, here I am with not even half of what I've bought on apex on 2 different consoles. Why wouldn't that transfer over or at least have it stay on my playstation account? All of it is totally gone. Why even have unlink/link option if they're losing you all of your paid for content?
  • I have the same problem. My PSN account was linked to a previous EA account, but after cross progression, I received only one skin from my PSN account to my ea account.

    Hi @dasweatervest 

    The ability to link and unlink platform accounts from your EA account is used for various situations outside of Apex Legends Cross-Progression. 

    To confirm, however, content on EA accounts has always remained separate and does not transfer over to another EA account. 

    From here you can either keep your platform accounts tied to their original EA account to continue with your current items and progress. 

    Or, if you wish to use your platform accounts with cross-progression you would need them linked to one EA account. However, this would mean any that are moved from one EA account to another would lose their progress.

    This is crazy. I have the same problem. You as EA should be able to help the people that need help. There is no reason you don’t fix this problem for legitimate cases. Is there a reason you can’t fix or just because its to much work for you to do? People spending hundreds or thousands of dollars in game and your not willing to help get things back in order for these people? We need answers and action. EA looks very bad right now for this. Very bad PR. Please help the people.

    @AidanParkway05 same here and they wont help at all, tbh idc about starting over level wise, i just want my items returned if i start a new account
  • Man I wish I decided to look into this more before I did what I did cuz from what I can tell everything I had on Xbox is gone and now all the stuff I just grinded the last month for free too since I just unliked my ps account and moved it over to Xbox. I have to redo all my challenges and everything. might as well just not play at this point
