hey guys i have serached alot bout the error am getting but there are just a few people getting the error code :0xc0000142 andafter that easy anticheat says untrusted file: winhttp.dll tried everything in power but overall progress was zero i have even triedrebboting the hdd installing the windows updates turining off windows defender adn av too even triedto repolace the file and also tried to set it up by cmd admin commandsbut still not working please guys fix this cozi just loved apex legends and i will play it anyway pleasae help!!!!!

i use to have this same exact problem on Fortnite once they started using anti cheat for their launcher and now the same issue is occurring on Apex Legends after noticing that they have an Anti-Cheat launcher as well. I've repaired my game and reinstalled it but that doesn't seem to do anything because once i try to launch apex out of the origin launcher or from my desktop, i still get "The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000142). Click OK to close the application" Then after clicking ok, it gives another Easy Anti-Cheat tab saying "Untrusted system file (C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft.windows.gdiplus_6595b64144f1df_1.1.17134.523_none_2c2b90be8af9a424\GdiPlus.dll)"I don't know what else to do. i also looked up many troubleshooting videos from a month ago that had the same error code as me and none of them seem to help.I also verified the game, restarted my PC, reinstalled Easy Anti-Cheat, repaired Apex Legends through the Easy Anti-Cheat software and still can't get it to work.This sucks because i just purchased the battle pass and have been really enjoying the game but now i don't think ill be able to run this until Apex gets a new update in a couple of weeks from now!-Email - [edit: email address removed]-Origin - HyperVFXPlease contact me when you find a solution!

Have these errors after EAC loading. Earlier Apex even didnt load after EAC.

I have similar issue too
After double clicking the apex legend shortcut i see the EAC connecting and the game doesn't open
And after few minutes origin opens with play button
Probably the game crashes but without any error

So here is what I tried to solve this problem:
reinstalling the game and origin
console command sfc /scannow
installing the latest windows update
running in compatibility mode

Bro after a lot of soultions i got this thing that it your windows problem ... To run apex legends smooth on ur ppc u just have to backup ur files and reinstall the windows and then uodate all the drivers again and update the windows.. and after that download apex legends. it will work without any issues.... It worked for me ...and i am really happy..
