I get the exact same error since one week ago. Im from chile and i do not know what to do to be honest. To play i have to unistall the EAC, reset the computer, erase EasyAntiCheat.sys(I erased in this way because the game wont close so, it says it is open) from program files(x86) and then reinstall and i can finally open the game.. But it won't close, i have to close from task manager steam to close it. Every time i want to play i have to do the same thing.
My pc specs are:
FX- 8320E
RX 570
8 gb Ram..

i`m having this problem for the past 3 days and today i found my solution, so i might share here.
-Go to your EAC folder on your Program File folder C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat
-Open Easy Anti Cheat app
-Chose Apex Legends and uninstal with the button on the bottom left corner
-Now you go to your game folder and open the Easy Anti Cheat Folder inside the game folder
To me this is the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Apex Legends\EasyAntiCheat
-Reinstall EAC using EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe
And you're done.

Sry but that doesn't work at all, if you have another game with EAC, i think it wont erase de EasyAntiCheat.sys from your pc so, if that file still on the pc it will not work :/ This problem is driving me insane..

What happens if you try launching the game with a different Admin User account in Windows? If you need more information on how to create a new Admin User check out the Microsoft Support website.
Once you have a new account try launching Apex Legends again and see if you're running into the same issues. Let me know how it goes when you can.

- @EA_Kent yeah no improvement same problem. Also if I log out of one account and move to another the system process continues its previous behaviour of drawing high power.
No improvement even after the update. please help.
