It's very likely that when your Steam account was compromised it might have been unlinked from your EA account. If this happened, then when you signed in again, the system will have asked you for the EA account to link it again, and you might have linked to a different EA account. I wouldn't be able to tell you which account the progress is stored in, but you can try contacting EA Help support once again and provide them with your email addresses and check if there's another EA account already registered, as your progress might still be there.
If you're not getting the chat option when trying to contact support, can you please try:
- Go to: https://help.ea.com/en/help-home/
- Select the game you need assistance with or EA App
- Select "I want to update my EA Account information"
- Scroll down the page to find the "Chat with us" option
If the chat doesn't show up, please try doing that while logged out. Once selecting the chat option it will ask you to log in, but you can select the option to continue without logging in.
